03 / Good questions

Less guesswork.
More clarity.

Still have a question? We’re happy to talk through your situation.

Ask us a question
Do I need to know my PC’s specs?

No. Share anything you know and describe the issue or your goal. The quote form has an optional Windows PowerShell helper for copying basic specs on a Windows PC.

What’s included in the starting prices?

The starting prices are for diagnostics, upgrade service, or build assembly—not a complete PC. Replacement and new parts cost extra. Your quote will outline the work and costs for your situation.

Does the diagnostic fee count toward a repair?

Usually, no—the diagnostic fee is separate from the repair cost. For simple fixes, such as changing a few settings, it can count toward the repair. We’ll confirm what applies to your PC when discussing the quote, before you agree to the work.

Can you help me choose parts?

Yes. Tell us your budget and what you want to use the PC for. We can discuss a balanced parts plan as part of your custom build request. Check with us before buying parts.

How long will the work take?

Timing depends on the issue, testing, current workload, and parts availability. We’ll discuss the expected timeline when we review your request rather than promise a fixed turnaround.

Should I back up my files first?

If your computer works, make a separate backup of important files before service. If it won’t start, tell us which files matter and avoid repeated troubleshooting that could make things worse. Don’t include passwords in your request.
